Database not updating v2.1.3 on FireFox

    No new indexed sites, notes, or highlights are being made despite browser and OS restarts.

In order to help eliminate local issues, I have tried a backup/restore with Memex. I am currently running through the restore function now. At this time new sites are being added to the database. I think we can mark this one as closed or invalid for now. If I find something more concrete, I will let you know.

i am not sure If I got the last message: Does it work again after restore or are you just trying to do a restore right now?

If you do the restore and in your restore folder is still a folder called “images” - delete it or move it outside of your folder if you wanna keep it. It contains the thumbnails that we deprecated because of this storage limitations.

The messages you get is because your database is full - like mentioned in the other thread Disk Space Warning, Firefox is causing troubles there that we have no influence over unfortunately.

Sorry, yes, the restore is still on-going, but hasn’t fully completed. In that time, new pages are being indexed properly. My guess is that because the restore has not completed, I haven’t yet reached the 2 GB limit you linked to.

Hey @BlackForestBoi,

Things are going better so far. I am currently using Chrome for now. I think I would prefer using FF, but Chrome seems to be working fine and I frequently need to use it for work anyway.

I did not successfully get my old data restored, the restore process just hung even after letting it run over a weekend. I didn’t have much in there that was too important, so I moved the backup to a different directory and started over with an import of my history.

Overall, I’m still quite happy with this product. I am happy to see progress!
