Memex uses the shortcut âmâ for the address bar in Edge which conflicts with another extension I use that has the same shortcut for the address bar. I use the other extension in the address bar more often than Memex, but I donât want to fully disable Memex to use it.
Not sure if it can be categorized as a bug, but it is an issue for my usage, and I wanted to share it.

What are the steps you took that lead to the bug?
- Go to edge://settings/searchEngines
- Scroll to the bottom where it says âExtensionsâ
- Right-click the three dots/ellipses next to the entry for Memex
- Select âTurn offâ
