This is not just a vivaldi specific issue, I just ran into this with Waterfox classic. I am currently moving to the non classic version but I wanted to index my history in classic first. I guess I will import it to a profile in the new Waterfox and try that?
Nope, it has the same problem in Waterfox current on a new profile with just my places.sqlite transferred over 
Canconfirm it’s not just that places.sqlite as it is still broken with a small file of history from a few days on another profile. any progress on the fix?
This is fixed folks! Update to Version 2.4.0 and it should be working again.
